WALL LIZARD

Wall lizard (Podarcis muralis) is really common in my area. They live even within the town in old buildings.

However, they do not live in my garden for some reason. So this shot was taken after about 10 miles of travel, up to Mecsek Mountains.

Even they are common, they are very swift, so it is difficult to photograph them. However, if you are patient enough and find their favorite place to rest, it is possible to get really close.

No need to travel far away for fantastic experience. Travel less, discover your backyard, reduce your ecological footprint!
