LAVENDER DIARIES
Scarce swallowtail (Iphiclides podalirius) swallows nectar from the
lavenders we planted in the garden.
We have more than 100 bushes now, so we just cut flowers of couple bushes only for personal needs. We leave the rest for the butterflies, bees and bumblebees to feed on.
A fantastic opportunity to observe, photograph and educate our children.
Taken about 50 steps from our front door. No need to travel far away for fantastic experience. Travel less, discover your backyard, reduce your ecological footprint!
