FLYING DRAGON

My dragonfly season just have started!!!

I remember back in 2001, when assignment on dragonflies was offered by National Geographic Magazine Editor Bill Allen. I was shocked about the possible difficulties about this offer, but could not say no… As I was informed, no other photographers accepted this offer for 15 years.

Dragonflies are extremely fast flyers, so it really seemed a career-killing job. But finally, I made it and have a feature story published. By having the

routine, it took me only 20 minutes, to have this shot on this patrolling Norfolk hawker (Anaciaeschna isoceles) in the air.

Only 3 miles from our home… No need to travel far away for

fantastic experience. Travel less, discover your backyard, reduce your

ecological footprint!
