ONLY FOR COUPLE SECONDS
I just cannot get enough of these guys.
I found a fascinating place, where norfolk hawker (Anaciaeschna isoceles) dragonflies can be found in quite large number.
It does not mean easy job. Moreover, they spend a lot of time with fighting, because the small ponds cannot offer enough territories for the large number of territorial males.
So they hover only for couple seconds, when I have to find them in the viewfinder with a telephoto lens, focus and shoot. As you can imagine,
most of the time I reach only the second level…
Taken 3 miles away from our residency.
No need to travel far away for fantastic experience. Travel less, discover your backyard, reduce your ecological footprint!
