WHERE IS MOM?!
Group of 6 cygnets waiting for their mother to return.
Mute swans (Cygnus olor) are really powerful and territorial birds. Lot of other nesting birds disappearing from the wetlands, wherever they show up. At this moment the mother was chasing away a waterhen.
Cygnets immediately formed a dense group and looked at their mother.
Taken 66 miles from my actual residency. No need to travel far away for fantastic experience. Travel less, discover your backyard, reduce your ecological footprint!
