RAINBOW EYES
It was an assignment with National Geographic Magazine on Dragonflies.
I was sitting and waiting beside a water filled tree hole for the huge
helicopter damselfly. They use to lay eggs there, but there is no
certain time of the day, when they do it. So I had to wait for hours
every day.
During those never ending hours I recognized something from
the corner of my eye. A fly landed on the same trunk I was. I noticed
some color of the compound eyes, but did not realize the complete
beauty of this common looking species, until I used my flash…
