MICROCOSMOS

Dewy stalks of haircap moss (Polytrichum spp.).

Stalks of this moss are reddish. However, most of the time they do not

look so intense. I know a place in Eastern Hungary, where huge

moss “carpets” covering the ground. So I laid down to have thousands

of stalks at the back to provide red background. Icing on the cake

that there was a solid shower, so everything became dewy…

Looks like a completely different universe. Worth to look at things from unusual angle!
