KINGFISHER EXPRESS

This is the only recorded moment that the kingfisher leaves the water

in this position. during 2 years shooting. Towards me.

They always left to the right, left or away, but never towards me. I have no idea, why this one happened. I never had the illusion that the bird is not

recognizing me. No matter how good my hide was. They have much better

senses. They just tolerate us, foreign visitors. Maybe it was a little sign of trust?

Only about 50 miles from my residency… No need to travel far away for fantastic experience. Travel less, reduce your ecological footprint!
