Adult kingfisher dives to the water to catch fish.

This moment was really desired for long. Kingfisher enters into the water, and you can see only few drops… A speedy movement frozen. A moment, which cannot be recognized with naked eye.

Moreover, it is hand exposed, not camera trap! I am just that kind. I cannot really compare the feeling to anything else, when you press the button and have a result like this.

A picture, which just received Oasis Magazine Award in the category “Birds and Bats” at the Oasis Photocontest 2017.

Taken only about 50 miles from my residency… No need to travel far away for fantastic experience. Travel less, reduce your ecological footprint!
