CAREER OF A PHOTO

This picture is probably the most widely published one from my multiple award winning coverage on European kingfishers.

However, I never entered this one to any photo contest, because I do not like it so much. Better to say, I like others better.

Many of you do: it was intensively used by Apple, Huawei and National Geographic. Moreover, image became published in a small country where it was taken: Hungary. 7 years after the date of creation, this photo is on the cover of a book on birds, and advertised on large posters even at bus stops.

Never let your work being judged only by yourself! Ask other professionals, friends, relatives to criticize your masterpiece!
