BUMBLE IN THE JUNGLE
Bumblebee hovers beside red poppy flowers. How was it possible to get this shot?
You see thousands of flowers and hear hundreds of bumblebees collecting nectar and pollen. The secret – just in many other case is observation andknowledge of animal behavior.
This tiny hairy worker was just visited the 2 flowers on the right. There was a third in-a-line with this two (out of this frame), so I knew that she will fly over in focus. I just had to wait, when she is leaving. You can see her silhouette with full pollen baskets facing towards the camera.
All that happened this morning at the edge of the road, less than a mile from my residency…
