Same, but not the same…
This the same situation with different recording technique. Picture shows a male kingfisher with a fish, what he is ready to give away for his chicks. He is looking to the direction of the nesting hole.
What I actually seen through the lens is the picture on the left: kingfisher was in the shadow, but there was a bright green reflection from the trees and bushes at the bank. So I captured this moment, then I turned my strobe transmitter on.
The result?
Picture on the right.
Just a little light can change the complete picture. Not just in photography…
